ComboMoji

I thought I understood emojis until I worked with a Japanese colleague. Turns out I was wrong about a lot of them. Emoji meanings vary by culture and generation more than I expected.

I started researching and ended up building ComboMoji, a dictionary that explains what emojis actually mean and how they’re used in different contexts. Built with Django and PostgreSQL.
